Unable to Pick up Tickets at Ticketmaster on The Night

So due to an emergency I had to fly out of the city today. However I bought 6 tickets for a musical via Ticketmaster at Princess Theatre, Melbourne for venue pick-up tomorrow. I'm not sure what to do as I tried calling them up but was unable to get through. I left my fiance with the card that I used to purchase it with hoping it would be some luck. I also emailed them but not sure if they can respond in time.

How can I go about this situation without losing $800? Are they that strict on who claims the tickets?

    they're strict to reduce fraudulent chargeback.

    You'll probably have better luck calling the venue Box Office directly.

    Okay Ticketmaster just manged to return my email at 10pm!
    You just need to fill in a letter of authority and provide ID and card used for purchase along with signature. Everything is well!

    Contact them via Twitter. They're pretty responsive. Tweet them then Follow them and send a DM. Get them to contact you and then work together for a way to prove identity. I only ever deal with TM via Twitter nowadays

    6 tickets is a decent chunk of money. Offer to send them copy of your proof of id,proof of travel, proof ur fiance is ur fiance etc
