The marinades are very different from the sauces, they have alot of sugar. Just a theory but I think thats what gives it the char black flavour/look when you get it from nandos is the sugar burning off.
Marinades end up tasting awful. I use the actual sauce to marinate. Turns out better.
Fair enough, just be aware this is advertising the marinades, not the sauces.
My local Aldi puts their special grocery lines out the evening before the offical ‘sale’ date. (Not the big ticket items, though.) If you pop in about 15 mins before closing you can usually grab them and avoid the lines in the morning. YMMV.
