My young family is moving from Sydney to Melbourne soon. My friends whom have done the same commented the noticeable difference in pricing for seafood.
We could get cheap fresh fishes like mackerels and yellow tails at $3.99/kg sometimes.
Any recommemdation on where to shop for seafood in Melbourne?
Thanks!
Quick update: went to Springvale but find that they are not very fresh. Camberwell market was ok but not many varieties. The one I found to be very good is Christopher's Fine Seafood at Clayton. Price is reasonable and they are very fresh. The selections are good too - so check them out. I will visit Dandenong market, South Melbourne and QVM and keep this post updated. Cheers!
Coles - hahahahahaha, just kidding. Queen VIc Market is seafood central with the best range but not the best prices. I like Footscray market for range and prices.
