even better deal, still very expensive :D
If it does what it says on paper (big if) and you consider the features, it's still very cheap compared to the competition.
@bxpressiv: Seems crazy that a low power squirrel fan, a HEPA or activated charcoal filter and a box with some holes in it costs so much.
I don't disagree, not only are they expensive but the filters are too.
at this price,
why not just get an air conditioner?
Because this is an air purifier, not an air conditioner.
Makes more sense if you're living on Beijing.
more energy efficient then running a/c
don't air conditioner have things like ion tech etc?
I also doubt in the australia we need these any way..
our air is not as bad a china
Will you live longer by using this?
Only if has band 28
you will live longer if you floss daily
and get regular doctor/dental checkups
Not if you are in N. Korea!
I'm a simple man. I see something ridiculous by Xiaomi, I + it.
It shows "Zero" pre-orders at present, just wonder how many of this product will be sold in 24 hours!!!
My guess 5
Thanks for the optimistic feedback.
We are Not in China!!!
You won't buy this if you are in China because you might need to replace a new filter everyday!
what do the chinese use then??
I am guessing this?
Wow that is expensive for an air purifier that only does PM2.5. Can't even tell from the description if the 3 filters are different types of filters or just one on each side of the intake?
We had one about 10 years ago that had several levels of filter that slowly got more fine (making it easier to clean under the tap) and it also had a UV filter at the end to kill any airborne bacteria. It was about half the price of this one (although looked no where near as good).

Pretty standard sort of a setup I think, pre-filter/carbon filter/HEPA filter.
