How do we find bargains from this list? Set up alerts?

      • I guess, I get emails for all postings in Pets. Usually it's 30% off codes etc that lead to deals.

    • I’ve come across this website before but they don’t mention advance? We have been told by a few breeders and even the person we bought our pup from to feed her the advance in the blue bag

  • n0o0o.. just brought 18kg from Costco today for $59…

Feel sorry for any dogs having to eat this crap.

    • Unfortunately not everyone takes into account the budget required to feed their dogs decent food, or more simply takes it on face value that this is decent.
I know I used to think this was decent, then I learnt it was crap, now I know better.

      • There are way too many brands to choose from. How in the hell do I choose a good brand with so many options?

        • Look at the ingredients and research on the Internet and the link above.

Ingredients are in descending order, the first few make up the bulk.

Stay away from brands that use cheap grain as a filler or by-products.

@Scab: Just grabbed a couple of 13kg bags of Ivory Coat. Only the best will do for my boy. Goodbye optimum!

        • @Keef:

Great choice, quality brand and ingredients.

I feed my dog raw but I give him Ivory Coat Ocean Fish as a treat or for training.

          @Scab:

I feed a mix of raw Roo mince and Ivory Coat or Blackhawk. It's super rare to have either of them fart.

        • @snuke:

Is that your dog in your avatar?

        • @Scab:

Yep, after a massive case of rabies.

        • @snuke:

He's beautiful, looks like a Shar Pei cross.

takes it on face value that this is decent.

The pet food industry are masters at marketing and false claims.
