Outboard Motors - Online SCAM

Been reading a couple of other possible scams with identical links. Seems that the bike scam is another one linked to this one.

I have been looking at new outboard motors for a new boat and this site popped up in Google. Prices were from $2,000 cheaper to almost half price for current retail prices from nation wide dealer networks.

This site does offer both direct deposit AND credit card payment. I opted for bank direct deposit, just to see what bank details they supplied.

Blurb in About Us says they have been operating since 1997, some bogus looking Testimonials… they list several towns/cities via which they deliver the outboard motors… I picked a couple of small towns that they quoted as having partners in and called the marine dealers there and they have no knowledge of that website or having dealt with this Marine Bazaar Australia previously.

I am glad I haven't paid any money, but will be doing some more research into this mob. Include the ANZ Bank in any research. I wonder how many have actually fallen for the SCAM so far?

    I too have been scammed by this mob as well with an online purchase of a Weber Baby BBQ. I also paid directly to them and after two days emailed them and still no reply from them. Four emails later and still no contact from them. I along with many others by the look of it have been duped by them.

    I was scammed on 29th Dec. I purchased an upright freezer from appliancesdeals.com.au after googling search for upright freezers. All info is the same bank details as above ANZ same ADRIASELL PTY LTD. I Also, for a 5% discount did an online bank transfer. I’ve emailed 3 times as it’s the only contact form and guess what no reply. I’ve rang my bank, their bank, scam watch email, consumer affairs, accc, police. No one does anything or just passes the buck. Why is there no one to stop this, or help get your hard saved money back?
