I bought this fridge recently from JB Hifi after doing price match. Was told by the sales person, that this is a successor of GT-442BPL and was released just 3 weeks back.
As the sale is still on @ Harvey Norman for this fridge model (GT-442BPLE), and the below deal has expired, hence creating a new deal. Please remove if its duplicate. Whole credit goes to @aja12
One question, how come there is no reviews on the internet for this model (the deal above)in that case?
I believe reviews for the fridge in the deal above is covered by GT-442BPL / GT-442BWL. Difference between GT-442BPL and GT-442BPLE is just the exterior colour (Platinum vs Dark Graphite Finish).

People are expecting that they will get the rebate when the lodging of rebate is not yet available. Imagine everyone buying and all waiting to lodge at the same time. It is really poor form why the QLD government say purchase on Jan 1 and after but you can't lodge your claim yet.
This is actually a superseded model, not the model that was released 3 weeks ago, hence the clearance price. I bought the latest model GT-442SDC released three weeks ago for a family member, a bit of a delay for them to get the fridge but it is worth it (door cooling, more energy efficient with new linear invertor, pull out tray etc) link below:
