Fake Leather Seat Covers

I am considering putting fake leather car seat covers over my cloth seats.

So far this seems like the best option so far.

Only $42 for the front seats (and about $60 more for the rear). It seems a very cheap way to give the car a premium look and protect the original seats. However, I havn't seen any real life examples of how these look and am a bit concerned about quality.

Does anyone have some experiences on these they could share?

  • you do know these are made of plastic? and you will sweat like a xxxxx and likely get nasty rashes in those intimate places

I've had those exact ones, back when I was 16
    They lasted probably 2 years
They were incredibly average but adequate

    • For $100, I wouldn't mind having to replace in 2 years. How do they look on the backside of the front seat? Also, are they easy to clean?

      • Honestly it's been about 3 years since so I don't really remember. I remember the wife hated them. Spills wiped off and they got sticky but you usually wear a shirt when you drive don't ya.

        Looking premium, not sure

They will protect your seats, but nobody will think they look premium.
But if you do, go for it!

  • It looks a bit bogun but sheepskin covers on seats are more user friendly. You will end up sticking to your vinyl seats and they will just give off plastic vapours as they cook in the sun.
