Been waiting for a decent price and finally pulled the trigger. This model is preferred over the newer model because it has a longer and more adjustable arm/neck that makes angling your smartphone easier. The suction is far superior to cheaper brands. Make no mistake, this is a keeper!

        used tried and tested works amazing. good quality strong magnets. used the windsheild mount for a 7+ and the desktop stand for an ipad mini been going great

          I just read some mixed reviews on Amazon so I think I'll stick to the $16 Scosche one I bought.

          Naztech Magbuddy: "After about a month the connection between the silicon suction cup and the plastic base becomes very loose and wobbly, I have to stick 3-4 nickels between thee plastic and silicon so it doesn't wobble and flop around when my tablet is mounted, pretty disappointing. I would NOT purchase another of these again."

    I've been using logitech Drive+ (suction cup with magnetic mount) for years now an I'm extremely happy with it. I've just got an Iphone X and I have been looking for a magnetic mount that supports wireless charging and I have ordered this from ebay

      I tried air vent mounts and they never hold still, maybe because of design of my car vents. Be good if cars came with clip on extensions to dashboards for phone mounting.

      I would have thought the magnets, even if placed around the charger like that, would interfere with the charging.

      I can't seem to figure how the phone attaches… can you describe/explain?
      I'm guessing it's magnetic or 'sticky'? Don't think there was an explanation on the site…

    Just be aware this is the MAGHDGPS with the short flexy arm, vs the MAGWDM which is the longer flexy arm usually sold here.
    Still good kit, I bought one.

    I put a SCOSCHE MagicMount Pro into my car just last week after having several cheaper ones fail in the heat. This one hasn't budged at all, have been really happy with it.
