Once signed in with app, choose down bottom "subscribe to offers" or says something along those lines.
It then says "check back later for offers" .
Check back 5 minutes later (or less) and open app up again.
Offers will show at bottom of page.

Not sure what you mean by hitting "update" mine has no update button.
The app and/or server linking app&gps&store locations&store items in stock.. etc does get some glitches.
I recently was inside a maccaz, with it continually saying that there was no maccaz in area (although gps and map clearly showed the correct suburb I was in) . Store manager honoured all deals and items for me and my friend.
Since you only just subscribed to offers for 1st time, just leave it and go back to open app later, rather than trying to update offers. Often closing app, then reopening fixes all and any issues with this app.

Yes, not exactly 'fake' but it is maccaz, and everything there should be expected to be somewhat dodgy in taste, health, and composition
No. Maccas has lots of processed crap, but the bacon is not one of them. Its the same real bacon you'll find from any restaurant. Unless something changed recently?
It looks weird and doesn't taste great.
I work at a Macdonalds and we do cook the bacon in a sandwich press with a non stick coating thing that could give it an odd taste but the bacon is just normal bacon.
Maybe you're vegan.

It was reasonably tasty. The McFeast is tastier in my opinion. And yeah felt distinctly crap after finishing two of them and I wasn't even completely full
Update - stomach is really suffering today to the point it's disrupting my morning and affecting my plans for the day. NEVER again the BLT Big Mac. I never had this issue with the small McFeast meal. More saturated fat in a McFeast burger compared to BLT Big Mac somehow according to the McD's website

I worked for maccas back in the day when we tested it. We used the sanitarium veggie patties, which are quite nice, but even with promotions people didn't buy them. I work summer at Bondi Beach store (which you can imagine how busy it was) and we would be lucky to sell 2-3 a day (compared to 10 filet-o-fish, which was 2nd worse seller). Maccas withdraw the Veggie Burger, due to lack of sales / interest. From a stores point of view, it cost us alot in equipment and waste from this promotion. Most owners would fight, if they have to refit a veggie cooker etc

Good deal, I ordered mine, both with just a single beef patty, for $4.35.
Just make sure they don't stuff up and remove all the beef like they did with mine. I had to take mine back so they could fix it.
Just used 2 apps for four blt Big Macs and 3 frozen cokes for $11.80 (after the $5 Amex offer) nothing tastes as good as a bargain
After screwing around with the app for 20 mins finally got a bar code to scan.
I had it pre loaded before walking into the store, hit scan and what does it want to do "Updating Product Information" which never ended.
Give me the barcode, don't care about your other products.
After killing the app a couple of times, thought good to go, "Generating Barcode" for a good 2 mins killed it and attempted again.
Finally got it to load. 2 with extra pickles & onions.
What a PITA the app is.
