Need Assistance with Gold Coast Theme Parks! Where Is The Best & Cheapest Place to Purchase Tickets?

Hi Everyone!

Finally heading to Gold Coast in early January and need your assistance with purchasing theme park tickets.
I have never been there and don't know what to expect and was hoping you guys will direct me with your experience.

We have a family of 5 going with 3 adults and 2 kids.

Could you please help me find the cheapest way of purchasing tickets for the theme parks?
What was your experience in Gold Coast like?
Any places that we can visit besides Surfers Paradise?
What to do and not to do?

    +1 Southport is literally the best free family activity I have ever seen.

    Huge water play area, flying fox, jumping pillow, playground etc. Awesome for kids.

  Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a great day out for families.
  Currently Adults at kids prices.
