Ozbargain has taught me well.

I was about to pull the trigger on a Bugs 3, but the price on Gearbest/Banggood was around $115 USD.

A couple of codes online dropped the price a bit…but I felt I could do better.

I got lucky and tried an expired code from September 'BUGSGB' and it dropped the price by $37 USD.
Not sure how long this will last. Might just be an unlimited coupon.

Thought I share with the community, since I've gotten so many good deals lurking here :p

(Looks like an amazing quad by the way!)

    I purchased this as a Christmas present for my son. We are both gaining flight experience daily and really enjoying this so highly recommend.
    I'm interested to know if anyone has got around the long charge times? It's about 3+ hours for a full charge. My son said that other drones he's heard of charge much quicker. Any ideas on a way to achieve this?

      You need a hobby grade charger. I found a good channel on YouTube, aimed at beginners.

      Check out the 'RCSaylors'.

      Can't wait for this to arrive. I picked up an extra shell for $3 ish.

      Cheapest way to get a decent hobby charger is probably to get a b6 clone like this. (I haven't checked if this is the best price). You can also get $30 hobby chargers, but you need to get a separate power supply.

          Gearbest are rubbish, you will only be disappointed with their delivery times and communication. I am still waiting for my drone from Nov 30th and no parcel yet. All they do is make jokes about Santa being busy and basically lie, i do hope i get my money back via PayPal after i raised a claim. BE CAREFUL OR WAIT FOREVER FOR A PARCEL.

      Yes. Look at the reviews online. Bugs 3 is being called a must have/instant classic.

      Hold out for a bugs 8 pro if you like the bugs 6. Its a Bugs 6 with more grunt, nicer design etc.

      Bugs 6/8 will be harder to fly than a Bugs 3.

    Anyone who owns one of these care to share there experiences with operating this?
    I've had many turns with my sons bug3 since Christmas and have slowly improved. My biggest issue however is turning. As this is done using the same stick as the throttle, I often end up shooting off in a random direction, accelerating and losing direction. Overall though, it's lots of fun to fly. I highly recommend anyone new to order replacement blades as you'll definately need more quick.
    Also, if anyone on the Gold Coast or surrounding area who missed out on this still wants to buy one send me a message. I purchased one of these impulsively and have changed my mind.

        Took me 15" trying to turn the motor on. Have to watch a youtube video. Apparenlly you need to hold the throttle stick down and press the red botton at the same time. I thought my bug was a faulty unit.
        My first flight lession today, manage to crash a few times and bend the propellar guard and 2 blades are bent as well. But a hell lots of fun trying to control it.
        I won't get a camera just yet as i need to learn how to co trol it first as this is my first drone. :)
