Ported to Belong after carrier billing died on Telstra Prepaid and I must say I’m quite disappointed with the congestion I’m experiencing.
I’ve been using my phone around Parramatta (NSW) Westfield and have hit congestion in the form of no data throughput and the inability to make and receive calls despite having ‘bars of reception’. These are problems I haven’t experienced in many years ever since I ported to Telstra Prepaid.
I get that it’s the busy season and shoppers are out in droves, but is this typical of off peak times as well for Telstra MVNOs?
No issues with telechoice almost ever.
Belong have bad congestion on our broadband, so I would assume they underprovision backhaul as a business decision as part of their “low price” differentiation.
