Is it a waste of time?

So I sent a simple message to see if they'd match or beat a competitor's price with details of store name, their phone number, product name, and their price.

The message I got back was:
"Can I please have your phone number so I can discuss further information with you, or if you like you can call us on 1300 980 399.

Thank you."

      It mightn't be a complete time waster. I was able to try the live chat today.

      I enquired to see if BL could offer a better price than IT Estate who had the Samsung ML-1660 printer for $59. BL has it online for $99. They weren't able to but at least I got a proper answer.

      "We will beat our competitor's price"? Apparently, not this time around.
