Please Suggest a Photo Studio on eBay

Hi all

I have been looking to buy some photo studio to take kids photos.
I have 5d mkII with 24-70 as my all rounder lens and couple of kit and cheapo lens

I recently had kids photo done professionally but choose not to buy the package and settle for a few photos as they weren't that great
Been thinking to buy Photo studio kit which must include, backdrop with stand preferably 2m or bigger, 4x umbrella with light.Also have a knock-off Speedlight which works well at times.

Could some please suggest some good kit that they have come across which includes above- I am confused with ebay with over 2K listing and all offer the same.

Happy to spend around 200 for a basic and 400 for wireless kits

PS want to take advantage of 10% ebay deal that ends midnight!

All the best photos are out of the studio. You have a great camera with fast and accurate focus lock and I assume a good lens. Studio photos do nothing for me; they say nothing, or not much.

  Thanks, agree but I have lost my skills sadly.
  
  I find it very hard to get the kids to stay in one place and they were great in the studio.
  
  What I have seen in my home it hasn't got the best lighting and too many reflections.

    Ah, I apoligise. It is none of my business and people are free to follow their desires (within reason) whatever their reasons. And I know studio work is a discipline in itself, especially to get people to relax and look natural. Good luck :) As a thought though, my own research if I find stuff on ebay, is to do a broader search looking for reviews, maybe even cheaper prices. Often amazon has reviews.

      @777: Looks great value. I imagine when it's set up you'll do a grey card white balance adjustment in camera while all the lights are on :)

I just thought, I frequent dpreview for reviews and forums. They have a forum for studio work. There are discussions about gear (mostly lighting, umbrellas etc) and technique. https://www.dpreview.com/forums/1025
