Nikon D7500 $1297 (after $100 Cashback) @ Harvey Norman

90

Was looking for a deal on the D7200 and found this which seemed like a good deal for the next model up. Cheaper than any other Australian stock. Better than all but the cheapest grey market deals I could find on ebay.

Can be combined with this amex deal to bring down to $1197 AmEx Statement Credits: Harvey Norman - Spend $400 Get $100

  • Is an upgrade from the D7200 to the D7500 really a major improvement?

      • yes

      • Thanks JV I have already done this search, but I want to buy one as a gift for a family member and don't know enough about cameras to decide which is the better buy.

        • Buy them a lens instead. Good glass is better than than a slightly newer body.

    • Yes. this is a great camera!

    • Minor improvements. But the removal of the second memory card slot and no option to add a battery grip was the biggest let down for me.

    • +1

2 steps forward 2 steps back.

(+) Faster frame rate. Better autofocus. Slightly better high ISO (low light). Compatibility with newer lenses (AF-P).

(-) Slightly less megapixels (Yes it can make a difference if you're doing wildlife or landscape). One card slot instead of 2. Less compatibility with older lenses (No AI indexing tab).

Usually they don't remove things from prior models, and they made this one more expensive to boot. All depends on those things matter to you.

  • Harvey norman Amex deal as well… crikey that's cheap.

  • that’s cheap!

    I bought the D7200 with 18-140 lens for 1100 with a $100 gift card
And that was a real hard with a few white lies to get it that price..

Combine with Amex deal woild bring this down to 997. Come on, let's be professional here.

    • Good point! I didn't think about splitting the payment up.

  • That's how much it should have been at launch. Not sure why this was so expensive

I have one of these. This is a brilliant camera with great real world dynamic range results. Focusing is so fast! At this price, this is a bargain - best crop sensor camera you can buy.
