Slap it between 2 pieces of bread and toast it. It's what grandma once did.

Luckily I have a PO Box as well and could game the system and now both of my pussies get a feed and a gift.

    • Thank you, Mrs Slocombe…

  • DEAR HUMAN, DO NOT EAT. IS NOT FANCY.

  • Pretty sure cats are happiest when they're ripping the heads off small rodents and birds and drinking their blood so they probably won't appreciate the delicate sauce.

My cat hates this 'fancy' stuff and wont eat it unless there's nothing else. She actually prefers the $0.65 supermarket label cans (don't judge, I was a uni student and barely feeding myself).
Doesn't stop me from ordering these samples and trying to get her to eat them (for a little variety at least…)

And kids often prefer maccas to a home cooked balanced meal.

      • Yeah, I know, but cats can be very stubborn. The other problem is you keep hearing horror stories about some of the premium foods, so I just mix mine around with different brands of wet food, mostly fancy feast, and they have Canidae dry food.

        • Kids living on fast food aren't stubborn?

        • @YogaPants: any kid old enough to be eating Maccas can be reasoned with. Cats can’t be reasoned with.

        • @try2bhelpful: They'll eat when they're hungry enough. Sounds like the cat is in charge.

        • @YogaPants: actually they may not and cats can get a toxic liver problem if they drop weight rapidly. However, mine are in charge.

  • Whats it taste like ? Any good for sandwiches ?

These taste like john west canned tuna

  • You should read the label on these things.
It is called meat from animal derivatives and is then packed with other rubbish. The whole tin really is rubbish.

It is cheaper to buy a full tin of meat or tuna. I am in the wrong business.

    • The label says "meat from animal derivatives" and "packed with other rubbish"? Wow, I know there have been advances toward 'truth in labeling' by manufacturers thanks to Choice and ACCC but that's amazing…

    • By the way, what is an animal derivative anyway? I wonder if I integrate the cat food, will I get back to the original animal…

      • Meat and animal derivatives are legally defined in the Animal Feed Regulations 2010. PFMA members use by-products of the human food industry that come from animals slaughtered under veterinary supervision eg. heart, lung, or muscle meat, which may not be traditionally eaten by people in this country.

  • It's a little bit fancy.

  • Thanks hamza23.

  • Thanks!

Feeding your cat a serve of tuna a day can lead to Mercury Poisoning?

    • The actual amount of tuna in this will be minimal. I bet that chicken meal is higher on the list.

  • Mine arrived this morning, won't have to worry about making dinner tonight.

Mine arrived today. I think the packaging cost more than the pet food.
