  There's also rumours of a new light / version 2 coming out and strip with extension.
  Not sure how long though.

  Had some issues setting up the Yeelight RGB Bulb with the Google Home Mini. Here are the steps that worked for me, however there may be an easier/alternative method;

  1. Download the Yeelight app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Set the server to Singapore on the app. Source
  3. Set up your Yeelight RGB Bulb in the app.
  4. Make sure everything regarding the bulb functions.
  5. Go to Google Home app -> Menu -> Home control -> Add Devices, select Yeelight Actions on bottom of the service list.
  6. Follow the instructions on screen to link your Xiaomi account, just as you did in Yeelight app. Source
