Telstra recently discontinued Google Play billing for prepaid services, which is a shame because I used that service very regularly.
Does any other carrier offer that service?
I can't see a general movement that people in my position are making, the information I'm seeing is very mixed.
Nothing like Telstra used to. Optus & Telstra still offer it, but on postpaid plans where the purchases just get added to your bill.

Out of luck mate. Find a new provider based on your needs. I just changed to amaysim $10 plan today, will stay with them if coverage is decent
