Ikea is having a Clearance Sale prior to Easter on it's Homebush Sydney store and prices have been marked down on a range of products. So if you are looking for some good furniture bargains, this is the best time to visit an Ikea store.

I noticed my local Ikea store at Springwood/Slacks Creek (QLD) has a very large red "clearance" banner out the front of the store as well.
After visiting the "clearance" sale in Homebush, Sydney I found that less than 1% (a few dozen items out of thousands of product lines) of the product range were discounted. For those that are discounted they are items you might rarely buy (key holder, cutlery holder) and it was very rare to see more than a 50% discount. The only section dedicated to "clearance" was near the cash registers at the end too. Overall very disappointing IKEA — this sale was not worth going to.
