ACL Ruptured - Need Surgery, Recommend Knee Brace

So ruptured the ACL and will now need surgery.

In the meantime, the doctor has suggested to use a hinged knee brace. I have started looking and found Donjoy reaction knee

Has anyone ever used one of these and/or can recommend something within a reasonable price range (<$100)?

  Most of the (decent) hinged braces I've seen are in the $100+ bracket.

  I have one of these - gives really good support but it's a bit bulky so it shows when you're wearing it under normal pants.

  Knee injuries suck - I've had plenty of 'em, hopefully yours is a quick recovery.

      Just a bit of a heads up, they're definitely on the small side in terms of sizing. Most other brands, L fits me fine but with this particular one I needed XXL.

        Rebel sports had only L and M sizes available. I ended up buying L. Feels much better than the cheap $10 knee support I was using for last few days.
