Got mine from clove (UK) for a touch under $600 a month ago.

I don't know about the phone, but I have ordered from this company before. Unless things have changed, or shipping is different for this product, they say to give it 15 business days for shipping, which is quite a long time for local shipping.
They also stuffed up an order for me, which meant a re-order, which meant another 15 day wait.
Having said all that, the company were responsive and generally helpful and I eventually got the goods I ordered, albeit 2 months later.
'xmaspromo' for an extra 5.4% off
These would be grey imports i imagine from hong kong or something.
6% cashback from moneybackco or iReward as well.
These are Telstra NextG network (850 Mhz 3G) phones. For other carriers, they only work on 2100 Mhz 3G, which is only generally supported on both Vodafone and Optus (or their resellers) in major metropolitan areas. Country areas are 900 MHz 3G for Optus and Vodafone, which this phone version does not have.
The A8181s are not Telstra phones. A8183s are Telstra handsets.
I back this comment as true.
So the HTC HD2 listed would also be Telstra T9193 models?
If HK sourced prolly T8585 model.
So you are saying you can only use this in the city if you have optus or vodafone and then if you go out to the country this thing wont work at all?
Surely not? How could they sell it if this was the case?
If you read the shipping page it says DHL is used for shipping from their overseas warehouse, so I think these are HK model phones.
Do they have Android 2.2?
so there's a code to get 5.4% off, then able to claim another 6% cashback from moneybackco?
brown - gross. graphite is where it's at
Yeah, I'm not sure where it's at, but I'm quite certain it's not BROWN!
Hmm this is actually cheaper (maybe not with promo codes etc) at a few other online retailers:
http://www.shopbot.com.au/pp-htc-desire-price-235058.html
Portagadgets, Shopping Square, TopBuy, BuyMart etc
Ive noticed these names before when looking at a grey import camera so this seems to be a pretty standard grey import deal if they are all doing it.
The desire HD is a bit better:
personally id pay a bit more for:
bigger screen, more ram better camera, faster HSDPA, DLNA, better battery life just to name a few things.
or even the z which comes with the slide out keyboard though not as highly specced…
comparison.

well done, beats cheapest by 50 at least
wait this is the 8181 not 83, just screen difference mainly, still good bargain.
