Been keen to grab this for a while. What's the story with the new Winter Olympics edition? Is it worth holding out for that instead?

It's just the standard disc with a paper DLC slip. At least the PS4 version is.
winter olympics has 2 more areas to roam. korea and japan. along with all the olympic events. steep ps4 pro is in 4k

They patched it a while ago, can down unlock all DLC using ingame currency if you grind a lot, but still think you have to buy the recent Olympic DLC.

@tommyc: I'm just asking if it's going to be worthwhile playing it on the XBOX One. I haven't played the game before - is it a terrible game? Is it going to have issues on the XBOX One if it's an XBOX 360 game. I'm entirely new to this and just want some advice.

The XBOX One is backwards compatible with XBOX 360 games. They will play equally as good if not better on the Xbox One.
I have not played Tomb Raider 360 so do not know whether it is 'worth it'. Perhaps read some game reviews on the web.
But considering it is $2.29 that is less than half a retain barista coffee…. but it will be only 'worth it' if your kids value the game and play it. So if they play it for 30 minutes and get bored, is that 'worth' $2.29 to you? Or do they need to love it and play it for hours…. 'worth' is all about perception.
For me, I've paid $30+ on games I've played for less than an hour and so they haven't been 'worth it'. But I did spend $89 on a game that I have played 100+ hours on and so it has been certainly worth it.

@tommyc: OK - thanks. I wasn't sure if there were any compatibility issues with older games on the XBOX. $2.29 is worth it if it works - but if it's hours downloading and then glitchy… then it definitely wouldn't be!

@Nickwpearce: And after all that - it didn't work! Only certain games are backwards compatible from One to 360 and this ain't one of them! I've spent about an hour with Xbox tech support and we've just worked this out.
