I didn't pull the trigger on a new GPU when I built my recent Ryzen box (still running a GTX 970). I did see some of the good ebay deals a little while back and was wondering if anyone has any details when we may see some of those style deals again (not just ebay, but other sellers)? I recall seeing a couple of GTX 1070 deals around $500 and some even less than that with the Galax single slot GTX 1070.

The deal of the day of MSY yesterday actually was not bad, Asus STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING for $599.
I am also eyeing on 1070 or 1080 graphic cards, especially the latter.
Best I can find atm is MSI Gaming X 1080 8GB at $743 after discount.

Really wanting Australian warranty cover as I’ve had several PC part doa in the past and I don’t wanna risk it

Atm there are not many deals on graphics cards. Hopefully some will come up with the post Christmas sales. The cheapest place to get them at the moment are around $550 by checking staticice.com.au . If you are looking to buy a 1080 amazon us is probably your best bet for around $680. If you are trying to save some cash I would probably sit on things a little longer.
