I have vintage hifi which is good quality. I want mid range Bluetooth receiver to connect to receivers.
Usually see either really cheap ones or really expensive ones.
Can anyone recommend mid range - $50-$70 . Ideally latest Bluetooth 4.1.

Do you have any phones/tabs/wireless cards in other devices, that are apt-x enabled? Better audio quality, very little audio delay. Low-latency apt-x has negligible delay.
Even standard bluetooth can sound pretty decent and many OzBargainers will recommend a Logitech adapter. That is without doubt very good as most Logitech stuff is.
In price-range mentioned, suggest from Avantree range: www.avantree.com/category-bluetooth-speaker-adapter-21 Available on Amazon.
Scrutinise all specs of anything you buy and you really don't want anything with a battery in it. Left on charge, the battery can and will eventually balloon to the point of cracking the outer-casing of the adapter. Speaking from experience there. Lesson learnt. :(
Bluetooth 5 (much longer range) is here, but enabled devices are few.
