You go first, say what you think.

      I think it's not reasonable

You quoted this: OzBargain is you, the community of on-line shoppers in Australia

What and why is it not reasonable?

        • -1

This is equal to the rejection of all Amazon's overseas sellers, not all the deals are bad.

@Jeanne774411: if the deals posted below are anything to go by. They look fairly rubbish. For example one of those the OP has said in the comments ‘contact the seller if you want a discount’ the point of oz bargain is to only post if you have got that discount hence the ‘bargain’.

        • -1

I think it can be passed through the OZ bargain review, not the direct rejection of all

          @Jeanne774411:
Not when we have 1.2 billion posts a day. It will be too time consuming for the moderators. Imagine any ebay/amazon seller can post a deal here, it will be filled with junks and real bargain will be missed. It will make this forum too confusing.

Not if the post is submitted by an OzBargain member based in Australia. Regardless of origin, a good bargain is a good bargain. Clearance stock excluded from Dilanni's website but priced higher than current fare is not a good bargain.

  • For clarification, several days after the launch of Amazon AU, the moderators decided to apply the same policy to Amazon AU as we do for eBay AU and aliexpress marketplaces, which is no posts from overseas users to reduce spam and sockpuppeting. From experience, most of these deals are not well-received by the community.

For reference, here are the Amazon AU rep deals that were from overseas users:

Well then anything made overseas shouldn't be traded here either. Australia survives on its high horse bcos of trading partners like China.

      Are you an overseas seller?

      are you on overseas drug?

  • Don't trust foreigners!

    • -1

Are all the things you use are native? Or is it bad for you to use all the foreign things?

@@ Well that went right over your head didn't it, for the record I don't care where a deal comes from as long as it is a good one but a site owner can impose any rules they see fit if they believe it is in the best interest of the collective.

        • -4

The site owner should just implement it then without asking silly questions from the public and making a donkeys ass of himself in the process

        • @sidewinder1:

The poster of this forum topic is a seller on Amazon, they aren't the owner of the site nor do they have anything to do with OzBargain. We can only assume they posted this as they disagree with banning those posts, since it impacts them (an overseas Amazon seller).

Perhaps there is confusion due to the fact the poster of this topic copy pasted some information from our site without quoting it?
