Howdy. Any suggestions as to where should I go in Sydney for 2nd hand books? In general, but also specifically in photography/design/art, of course in affordable ranges.

I think I looked at using https://studentvip.com.au/textbooks but I don't really know if things have changed since last I used it.
I typically get good prices at: https://www.bookdepository.com/ I know it's not second hand but prices are usually good.
Also, I know obvious but don't forget libraries (both for buying second-hand books and just borrowing some), like I know borrowing is kind of obvious but I still wasted a fair bit of money buying textbooks I never opened where I could've just borrowed it for a few months because I'm always like eh.

Lifeline has a few shops near Gordon/Lindfield. Excellent range and they will be having a $2 books sale next month. I grabbed a few uni textbooks for $5 each last time.
Loads of Op shops in and around Sydney or at least there was when last I lived there.
The Salvos used to offer a list of their local stores, but there are Good Sammies, Vinnies, Red Cross etc.
Most of the suburbs I used to frequent usually had at least one.I've found lots of camera/photography books in both Op shops and in Gumtree.
Its a good idea to look for books that specialise in the specific topic e.g. "Exposure" or "Composition".
Books that are broad range on "Photography" say can't be as in-depth as a book thats specific (IMHO).
