Oppo R11 Vs iPhone 6/SE vs Xperia XZ vs Galaxy A5?

I'm looking at the current Virgin Mobile $40 plans with $0 handset payments (https://www.virginmobile.com.au/hotoffers/). The 2 phones that attract me are the Oppo R11 or the iPhone 6.

Clearly the specs are better on the Oppo, but I've had Android phones die after just a year vs an iPhone that is still running 5 years after purchase. All the family uses Apple but I hate iTunes with a vengeance, especially after using Android for a year (have a moto G4).

Thoughts?

(Edit: Just saw they snuck the iPhone SE in too without putting it on their main page, same price)
(Edit Edit: They also snuck in the Sony Xperia XZ & Samsung Galaxy A5, same price. Choices choices!!)

    The SE is more recent than the 6, but smaller screen

    Wife has the XZ on $40 plan from virgin mobile. Replaced an xperia Z2. The build quality, camera are fantastic. Performance is right up there with 3gb ram, snapdragon 820, has NFC (android pay) and IP65 water resistant (Oppo R11 has neither), and what I love about the sony android experience is its a very light "skin" or reworking of pure android and is on list to get Oreo. Cant fault it for the money.

    Research updates for oppo phones. Anecdotally it's no that impressive.

    I'd also recommend the XZ. Sony is great with long term software support, performance and is reasonably close to stock.

    Can't recommend the IP6 - 1GB RAM is starting to really limit its performance with the latest updates, regardless of how well Apple optimises usage. Seeing some take 20-30 seconds to open the Facebook app is not great…
