Are you sure they are category 4 lenses? Category 4 lenses are designed for spirituality purposes eg high altitude trekking and are not safe for normal driving (they are TOO dark) .
Most normal sunglasses are category 3 (eg most Oakleys, Maui Jims, Ray-Bans) which are "normal" "dark" sunglasses.
And PS - Category 1 thru 4 are not grades of polarisation. They are just grades of overall darkness. But any of then can also be polarised.
