Not sure if this is a real bargain, considering Kmarts $239 price, but with Harvey Norman, for $268 you get a $20 HN gift card, plus a bonus portable speaker (valued at $59.95) - doesnt say which speaker though.
So subtracting the $20 gift card= $248, minus kmarts $239 price = $9, so $9 for the portable speaker.

hmm yeh, but the website does say the portable speaker is valued at $59.95, that ones $38, if they give you that speaker or one thats below $59.95… you have something to argue about? or even get a better one?
%59.95 would be the RRP. So it's probably only worth about $30-$40.
They will quote RRP for the item most of the time, which of course when they sell it usually wont be anywhere near that.

I'm suspecting to most people a giftcard and a set of speakers dont mean much to them
considering the giftcard locks u into a store that has been notorious for high prices (apart from the recent sales to cover their arses and increase sales revenue to make them look good)
exactly, and those speakers really only cost ~10 bucks
