PCCG Shipping costs

Hey guys, wondering what you guys think of companies overstating shipping costs. I've been buying off PCCG for years now and they've always been a bit higher but as of last year the prices has skyrocketed.
Buying a few items whom they're the only place that stock it. Bought a mousepad + mechanical keyboard. I opted with the cheapest option which was eParcel Standard which was $24 while express was $36 for startrack and $39 for auspost express which for sure has to be inflated. Anyone have the same issue with them?

    I avoid them mostly due to insane postage prices.
    Mwave is much better priced postage

    I've only bought from PCCG once, 6 years ago. They won't capture customers from outside their current state as MSY, Mwave and UMART will often have competitive pricing

    Maybe they should think about partnering with Shipster, hah

    I just bought a cpu from them, a very tiny box, postage was $15, to be fair though it was packaged very well, so you arent only paying for the postage, but packaging as well.

    got a cpu of them a few years ago. was a little concerned at the postage cost, at the same time i was concerned about a cpu getting sent in the mail.

    courier rocked up a few days later and left what i thought to be a football on the doorstep, opened it up and the was the cpu double triple quadruple rapped in bubble wrap.

    damn stoked with their postage

      I bought a CPU cooler a month ago from PCCG (which was only available from them or amazon) it was inside larger box with not a single piece of bubble wrap at all so it freely moved inside the larger box.
      there was certainly plenty of room for bubble wrap to stop it moving freely.

    Postage is a little high but still cheaper than what it costs posting it yourself over the counter. Agree that packaging is very well thought of.

    Actually they charge more for postage than it costs.

    Item cost: $16.00
    Postage: $15.00 Auspost standard postage

    Actual cost using prepaid satchels:
    Standard: $8.07
    Express:$10.78

    Thats exactly why I've never bought anything from them. These days I expect shipping to be at cost or cheaper (eg.order x amount free postage)

      $5-$7 bucks for bubble wrap doesn't cut it.

        They use ultra premium bubble wrap where the bubbles are filled with unicorn farts.
