Hi guys,
I have just bought vegepod large (2x1 m). Based on the instructions on the website, it says it will need 18x 25 L potting mix. I went to the bunnings nearby our place and max i was able to find is 10L bags. Can anyone suggest place (i leave near blacktown, NSW) to bulk buy good organic potting mix?

The 25ltr bags are outside with the pots at most Bunnings and prices start at $3.95 from memory.As per ericmclee's comment above Landscape Suppliers will work out much cheaper.The other alternative could be to nearly fill the pod with tabs of still compressed pea straw filling the gaps and then top with soil. This will require topping up as the peastraw breaks down for a couple of years but your soil will be better for it.You could even just place 2 bales in the pod cover with a bag of soil and plant away total cost would be under $20.Read up about Straw Bale Gardening for ideas how to activate the bales. https://www.organicgardener.com.au/blogs/how-make-straw-bale…
