Help me find NBN for 25/5 Mbps plz

Hi guy's

Moving in to a rental in a weeks time and need to get my NBN sorted out and am looking currently at

  1. Skymesh 25/5 Mbps, 30GB any time, 60GB off peak data for $45.
  2. Telecube 25/5 Mbps, 50GB Peak, 200GB Off Peak for $45 plus $33 setup

Is there any other option you can recommend at this price tag with similar data allowance?

Thanks for your time.

    Telecube over Skymesh.
Skymesh sold out to some UK ISP conglomerate who took the good name they'd built up and trashed it.

Telecube offer an extra 10% off if you mention their Whirlpool offer at signup too.

Happily been a Telecube customer since the start of the year.
Consistently get download speeds at my (pitiful) 30/10 FttN max Sync Rate on a 50/20 plan.

  • +1 for Telecube. Recently switched from Skymesh to Telecube.

Much better peak speeds and support is awesome. I have had responses to support emails in less than 5 min from a real person who knew what they were doing.

    • Are their speeds to US / Washington servers good during peak hours? I'm with Skymesh and i'm actually getting pretty decent speeds (FTTP, 50mbit) .

i'm only paying 55 a month for 500GB of anytime data at 50/20 speeds, which is actually a really good deal, and is the reason I'm still with Skymesh. But 1TB Telecube offer is pretty tempting

      • Got a test link?

        • Yep. could you please try https://www.ozspeedtest.com/bandwidth-test/

Scroll down to the Wordpress Test and hit https://www.ozspeedtest.com/bandwidth-test/wordpress-speed-t…

Right now I'm getting 25.0mb. Not amazing speed but generally good enough in most scenarios.

        • @scuba79:
Guessing you're on a Wideband port?
I'm pretty certain our POI is still on Vocus.

        • @scubacoles: On Vocus in Brisbane routing via Melbourne POI.
Just happened to win node lotto, syncing at 96 Mbps.
(First world problem) Pretty sure speed test would be even better via ethernet but I only have wifi devices.
Pretty impressed with Telecube so far.

        • thanks for the speedtest - Very nice. That's a huge difference from Scubacoles result

Sween64 also got a pretty good result as well. Now I'm even more tempted to switch

        • @scuba79:

FML, thanks for rubbing it in… my test was by Ethernet too, so yours is a worst case scenario, mine is a best case!
          Thanks Malcolm

        • I am now connected with Telecube

          30.67 Mbps

Aussie Broadband is awesome in terms of getting the speeds they promise & their support

Use the code SIGNUPONLINE to get the first month free, more details here - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/338963

    • +1 if all you need is 50Gb (and you don't care about Off-Peak allowance), then you can't get much better than ABB.

    • Yep Aussie broadband is great. Bit more expensive but you get what you pay for.
Get 93mbps at peak times, 70mbps to Germany.

  • Thanks all, joined Telecube.
