Suggestions for Decent iPad/ Tablet for Kid to Run Music, Educational Apps and Games

I am looking for a decent quality tablet (iPad or any other brand) for my primary school kid to run music, educational apps and games. Which one is a good value for money and where to buy for the cheapest price? I guess it will need to have 64GB at least if not 128GB so that we can use it for 3-4 years at least. I am not quite updated with tablet products in the market at present.

I would prefer to spend around $200-$300 if there's a good option within this range. I will appreciate your recommendations.

PS: We have a 16GB 2nd Gen iPad from at least 6-7 years ago (if not more) but it's just not capable of running the latest apps/ games and also there's memory limitations obviously.

    What about a standard iPad, like the $400 ones floating around?

      I would prefer to spend within $300'ish. Plus, the low range of iPad won't have 128GB or 64GB in some cases.
