L's and P's cannot submit deals from photo

Found a great deal at Costco, researched prices, checked for duplicates, took a photo and attempted to create a deal only to find 10 minutes later that L's and P's cannot submit deals with photos.

What is the reasoning behind this decision?

    Probably because anyone can be an L or P and post ANY kind of photo. Since this site allows posts to go up unmoderated - this can be an issue, whereas those who have been here and posted b4 are more likely to be nicer.

    It's part of SPAM countermeasures as we generally don't have anyone awake in the middle of the night with Saturday/Sunday mornings also being a time when we get hit. You should be able to post now HOWEVER you could always just link to Costco without the picture and then put the picture in the description.

    Hey,

    I know this thread is a little old, or very old I should say, but I am having the same issue with posting a deal for Stake Investing.

    What is the best way around this? Or how do I remove my L plate badge? (if I have one)

        Aha yeah I realised.

        Nah it was a deal post, as all of them are 'expired'
