Is This Video Card a Good Deal? MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 $705 on eBay

Saw this, comes to around $705 after you apply the code. I have heard that quite a few of the MSI Gaming X cards have coil whine issues wheres have not seen as many complaints about the Armour OC line.

Planning to eventually run 3 4k monitors, not really gonna use for gaming. Thanks :)

  Not really? You need to be specific

  This is a very expensive card if you aren't going to use it for games. The GT 1030 is a cutdown version of the GTX 10 series that may be more appropriate.

  buying a 1080 and not using it for gaming? what?

  are you getting it for cuda? this is an enormous investment for one of the main features and purposes of the graphics card to be left unused

  you'd save a lot more money by going with a 1060 or some variants of the 1050ti both of which will still support 3x 4k monitors at 1/4-1/5 the price
