    You could safely use either one. Valvoline suggests Engine Armour 10w-30, but both of these oils exceed those specs.

      10w-30 would be more suitable for the climate.

      unless you do oil changes twice-yearly like i do e.g. 5w-xx for the winter, 10w-xx for summer

    Hey bitsnpieces,

    Looks like only the following are eligible for cashback:

    SynPower 0W-40
    SynPower 5W-40
    SynPower 10W-50
    SynPower MST 5W-30
    SynPower MST 5W-40
    SynPower 5W-30
    SynPower FE-5W-30
    SynPower XL-III 5W-30

    You might get away with it if your receipt doesn't mention DX1.

    Thank you for your email. Yes - the Valvoline SynPower 5W-30 replaces the SynPower 5W-30 DX1. These are both eligible in our current promotions which are up on our promotions web site: www.valvolinepromotions.com.au
