Hi guys. Was looking at getting a Kogan series 8 50 inch and 32inch. On the website they look alright but just wanted to hear from people who own them and your opinion if they are any good or not.
Experience with Kogan TVs
Comments
I bought a 50" 4K UHD TV fro Kogan for the bedroom. I have to say that I've been fairly impressed with it, given what I paid (I believe I snagged one for approx. $500). I find that the interface (menus and smart functionality) can be sluggish with cheap TVs, but the Kogan is an exception. The remote is also very responsive. The missus and I usually watch a bit of Netflix before bed and the Kogan was a significant step up from the 40" Samsung we had previously. Long story short, I've been very happy considering what I paid.
I recently received the 55" that was $500 delivered, and am really happy with the picture and the 'smart-mess' of it (kinda android). Great value for money.
good timing, I'm also contemplating on the 65" Aldi and Kogan TV varieties vs getting a 55N7 from HiSense
My brother bought the 55 inch 4k one for $450ish. No complaints in the past year but he isn't fussy. The start up screen is incredibly bright and blinding though
How is the screen from different angles
I bought kogan tv 5 yrs ago 32", smart tv, was around $250 odd, still working great!
The picture is good, sound good, we can stream Netflix etc, can play movies from usb.
Cant complain really!
they are OK, nothing special but perform as expected for a budget LCD
we have 3 32" ones of different specs/ages in the house
our first one was bought around 4 years ago. the second one was bought in April 2014, not sure when first one was exactly, might have been the xmas just before that.
