So is this your blog or not? Bit of transparency will save you a lot of trouble in the future
This is how you travel for FREE? You must be joking right?
Round up 9 friends to book and travel with you on the same trip at the same time and you get your trip for free - OR each person will receive a 10% discount.
I guess it's a tip if people don't know it. I remember for Spring Break in college(US), they would give a free trip to the organiser if they could secure x amount of bookings. So same sort of idea, get 9 bookings, get 1 free.
As for the StandbyRelocs, I believe it may have been one of my first deal posts here, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/9813. Very efficient way to travel cheaply around Australia and you don't need to even go through that company. They are just the middle man for the companies, so if you can decode which company is in which city, then you can just call them up directly and save the $25 or whatever they charge now.
I think the problem with your blog and well so other blogs is that they overwrite. I mean, you could have conveyed get 9 people to sign up, get 1 free, very concisely in a few sentences. Some pictures to breakup the long bits of text may be good as well.
@neil - thanks for tips. Much appreciated. Writing isn't really my thing but some friends who I'd travelled with said I should give it a go and let people know. Will take your comments on board.
@rack - I think you've missed the point. It is about everyone getting a 15-20% discount AND you travelling free. It doesn't sound so good in today's frenzied discounting but when we went to Ethiopia - everyone was pretty thankful of the $800 discount off the retail price of $4000 for the trip. Since I've got to know the people from the private groups sections of the different companies, they tell practically no-one else does this. Take it or leave it - its up to you. As I'm now married with babies, I'm not doing it anymore so happy to pass it on.
@zhenjie - yes my blog. Free advice. Freely given.
Actually just followed a link for the NIKE deal here and saw the freebie section so thought I'd post up. Didn't realise it would rattle so many feathers. Anyhoo - @neil if this doesn't belong here feel free to pull it down.
Wow good write-up. Some smart strategies there.
So this is your blog?
I'm looking for these travel secrets, I've read through the first page and don't see anything relevant to Australia. I see:
A post with about Tripalertz, where the author wants be to sign up through their referral link.
A post about Goby.com,which doesn't work for Australia.
Some posts about NYC
Perhaps you can point some out?
