I'm looking at getting Netgear Aircard 810s
There is no one modem that's best for every carrier because some carriers use systems that require carrier hardware such as Telstra cable.
I want one mainly for optus and vodafone telstra plans are to much for me

I have mobile broadband, which I mostly use at home, as I have no other possible internet options.
I bought an unlocked Huawei E5573 modem on ebay about 6 months ago - I think it was ~$50.
It works a treat! I have no problems…it picks up the signal fantastically :) , and I live in a country area. I stream movies and all sorts of stuff - all good :)A cheap android phone can work pretty well as a mobile broadband device.
But will it be as fast as a proper mobile broadband device?
One that is free and works
