Found this website while browsing Facebook.

They pay for ads, but do they just take your money and do nothing or are they legit. Because if so I'm upgrading.
Selling Alienware 17 R3 2.7GHz i7-6820HK 17.3" 1920 x 1080 for $189 ?

But no certificate. No SSL.
and Registered to a guy named Name:Denise Coon

Any thoughts ?

I became too trusting of the internet and stupidly bought one. They sent a payment receipt straight away, but was vague and without details of what I bought. A week went by, no shipping notification. Sent them an email. No reply. Am going to have my credit card company get a refund.

  If it isn't a Symantec issued one they take steps to ensure the identity of the site operator is accurate.

    No they don't, that is categorically untrue unless it's an EV cert… But even with an EV cert, it is not a guarantee that it is a legitimate website.

I think the more they buy the more manufacturer discount they get :

Buy 100+ units @ 20% off
Buy 500+ units @ 50% off
Buy 1000+ units @ 90% off
Buy 10 000+ or more @100% off

In any case, my policy is that if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't

Just out of interest, how did you find this website? I often wonder how OzBargainers end up on these scammy websites when it's hard enough to get to the first few pages of Google when your website's legit (unless the search phrase is very specific).
