    Price matching isn't a bargain.

    • The $479 isn't a price match.

The $469 is, if you don't want the game.

      • Jv when did you go festive?

        • ho ho ho…

      • The $479 isn't a price match.

The $469 is, if you don't want the game.

Then show me where the bargain is considering JB have it cheaper for more.

        • Then show me where the bargain is

I paid $369 at HN using this offer.

If you wait a couple of days, you can get it for $349 with Gran Turismo thrown in…

        • @jv: That's nice. This post should be labelled as Targetted then.

Also very unAustralian by helping Gerry get richer. Shame on you, jv.

        • @Porthos:

This post should be labelled as Targetted then.

It says with with AmEx Cash Back in the title… Not really targetted, but you can't add the offer to your card anymore… If you added it when available, you have until 31-Dec to redeem it.

        • @Porthos:

very unAustralian by helping Gerry get richer. Shame on you, jv.

If it wasn't for the $100 cashback, I would have got it from JB since they advertised it first.

        • @jv: Well it is targeted as people who don't have an AMEX card can't get it. So it 'targets' AMEX card holders.

Could post up anything that HN sells as being a 'bargain' then with this offer. Just floods the site and gives Gerry another 'free kick' (like he needs one, already making us all pay GST on digital goods and soon imported goods under $1000). The man should just shut up and retire.

        • @Porthos:

Well it is targeted as people who don't have an AMEX card can't get it.

It would only be targetted if it applied to only some people with the card…

There's nothing stopping you getting an Amex card to redeem the offers.

Yep, it's been happening all the time on OzBargain for years…

          Nah, got enough CC's anyway.

Yep, it's been happening all the time on OzBargain for years…

Tell me about it, a few particular company's get far too much leeway on here.

  • loweeeeer… 400 pls…

  • Amex deal valid till end of december..holding off for a better deal

    • You think there will be one?

      • May be…hoping for one…

Already got Switch + $30 eGiftcard for $300 from HN

        • $30 eGiftcard?

        • @wooyugil: pricematched to $399+ $1 item and got $100 back from Amex

2 days later price dropped by $30. Got $30 eGiftcard via livechat

        • @Aemit: oh I see. Thought I missed an eGiftcard deal ;) Thanks.

      • See my comment below. $20 cheaper.

  • +3

Thanks for posting the HN bundle OP.
However I'll be price matching to Big W ($449) when their deal goes live in 2 days:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/346992

    • You can price match now

I think it's 7 days before and 7 days after that they price match…

      • They will give $$$ difference as eGiftcard

      • They have changed that policy so no longer 7 days before

    • Thanks Viper8 for reminding me of that deal.

  • I can get this deal for $299.95 delivered due to a voucher off only for a PS4 Pro, yet I already have a PS4 so it seems like a lot of cash to be able to play the exact same games I can already play, and I only have a 1080p TV.

Any way to convince me to waste $300?

    • +1

Buy a 4K TV then you should be able to convince yourself to buy PS4 Pro as PS4 can't play 4K Blu ray :-)

    • +1

Sell your old console to bring the price difference down to <$100.
That price differential is easily justifiable even on a 1080p display after watching a few Digital Foundry PS4 Pro Youtube videos (Boost Mode for non-Pro patched games [far less dips in FPS], reduced noise vs. OG PS4, super-sampling for us guys on 1080p displays [anti-aliasing], longer draw distances, faster loading of textures, more fancy lighting and shadow effects etc.)
      Decision made.
      You're welcome.
FYI I'm upgrading from a quiet C-chassis (CUH-1200 which is much quieter than the OG PS4) despite playing on a 1080p TV. Despite these two things I still believe its worth it as I'm over FPS drops and severe aliasing. Also lets not forget that you're swapping to a brand new unit under warranty.

      • I'm selling my PS4 1TB for $180 and getting the PS4 Pro. $119 to upgrade with a game. Seem good to you?

        • I'll be selling mine privately for a lot more than that. But it's a 1TB CUH-1200. If you have a CUH-1000 500GB then you can probably get $200 privately?

        • @Viper8: I have a 1TB CUH-1200b

        • @FabMan:
You must be trading it in to be getting so little? They Adv. for $300+ second hand, though obviously you're likely to settle for a good $50 or so less.

        • @Viper8: Selling to poor relatives.

  • All 8 HN near me are out of stock of both the Black and White bundles…
Looks like this is online only, unless stock is yet to hit the stores?
Either way this is going to make price matching more of a pain doing it online. Do you just pay the full amount then pursue the partial refund? Or do they create a special modified checkout link for you with the lower price?

  • Delivery only, but it is free. :)
