I've held off as long as I can, but in need of a washing machine. Cheaper (<$600) if preferable, and ideally 7kg or above capacity.
Prefer front loader but open to either.
Haven't seen any washing machine bargains pop up here lately, but worth asking right!

Why not a second hand?
second hand machines can be found for like $200 on gumtree.
They are simple machines.
Am I missing something?
I've bought second hand before and although it worked for 6months I've rather some sort of warranty especially as Id need to airtask the delivery of a second hand one also.
Some people want to offload their washing machine when things start going wrong with it.
Must be extremely lucky then.
Never had any issues with any $200 machine i have ever bought. I mean… if i did… its $200 i can buy another.
I dont see the reason to buy an exp machine to wash p.o.s. garmets from kmart as most people do. Then pay $400 to repair it when it breaks.
The good guys have a vip sale and open until 9pm tonight.

I bought Haier Front Load Washing Machine from Bing Lee last Sunday. It was part of their Penrith store opening sale so I paid only $399. I missed the opportunity to purchase it during recent 20% off Bing Lee Ebay promotion which would have reduced the price to $359.
JB Hifi is selling the same machine for $496. I can't see any other washing machine with such large capacity at lower price. It comes with 2 years warranty.

Didn't realise there was a Bing Lee opening in Penrith. I wonder if they will still have a deal on this machine if I go on the weekend. Maybe I will have to wait for Marsden Park opening to find one.
The deal ended last Sunday.
