I want to buy a PS4 to play crash bandicoot.
Should I buy a PS4 Pro with 2 remotes and 2tb drive for $370 or a normal 500gb for $300 which has the last of us, horizon zero dawn and crash bandicoot which is the actual game I want.
I am thinking of the resale value when I go to sell. Want to get the same back that I paid or as close to it.
I won't be using a 4k TV. The only reason I was thinking of it was that I might be able to sell it for the price I'm buying it for easier.
The Pro at $370 is a much better deal. And will run better at 1080p than the standard.
For $70 difference for 1.5TB and an extra controller is a no brainer.
yes, get ps4 pro bundle for $370, that bundle is great value. 2tb drive easily sells for $80 brand new, you will easily get your money back.
I'd go for the Pro. It'll hold its value better and $370 is a steal for one. Even without a 4K TV, lots of games with Pro enhancements will still look better on a 1080p TV thanks to super sampling. If you aren't aware of what that is, it's a method by which a higher resolution is scaled down to 1080p resolution which results in greatly improved image quality (no jaggies, or pixel crawling on high contrast edges).
As a Pro owner myself, I’d highly recommend you spend the extra $70 for it. Would you mind sharing the source of this $370 deal? My brother’s in the market for one, but my search for that offer here came up empty…

Both consoles are second hand. The PS4 Pro owner is now saying he wants $400. You guys had me sold on the PS4 Pro but I don't want to spend the extra $30 now

I’d get the pro if I were you. It will re sell for more value than the slim when a new PlayStation console comes out. Totally worth it. I got a PS Pro but don’t even have a 4K TV.
EDIT - just read your comment that it was second hand. Not sure if you should get it, I got a pro console and 5 games for $499. Totally up to you, id get brand new though if I were you
there's an old saying… if your problem can be solved by $70 then it wasnt much of a problem in the 1st place

Considering the PS4 Pro just came out, the "second hand" part is questionable, make sure you get full proof of original purchase with it.. In my experience, Sony is one of those brands I've had to make warranty claims on quite regularly compared to other brands. I'd go PS4 Pro too…
If you have, or intend to get, a 4K HRD10 TV the pro is great. Otherwise get the regular one.
