Got the voucher after registering, but may give adding my credit card a miss. This is a new app, and who knows whether they got the security right (they certainly don't care whether your password is weak, which is not a good thing if it has a payment method). Had my card compromised 6 weeks ago, and it was neither fun nor straightforward having to sort that out with Citibank.
I opened a free account at NAB and keep $20 in it for just these situations. I do my "real" banking elsewhere so there's no danger to my other accounts.
Showed you need to add payment method to redeem credit for me.
Sign up for Divipay, you can create a virtual card for every website, don't have to worry about getting hacked, and at least if Divipay gets hacked you only have to deal with one company

App & offer seems same as Free $10 Credit to Use at Zeus St Greek but they've fixed the multiple $10 redemption hack.
In case payment issue still a problem, select Pay in Store, tell staff the number on your screen, they charge for purchase, deducts credit & sends receipt.
Doesn't take any of my 3 credit cards… says 'refer to card issuer'. Anyone has the same issue?
Have had similar issues before with Commbank CC as verification was not processed.
Yea… does not work with Commbank, 28 Deg, AMEX Velocity and AMEX Explorer..
I used 28Degrees no problems.
May just be OzBargained at the moment.

Thanks Infidel, tried manually entering my 28 deg card (rather than scan image) just worked now. AMEXs still don't work… probably dodgy payment/verification system
Doesn't work for 28 degrees, amex plat edge and ING for me… Unfortunately no other credit cards to try!

there are stores at Moorabbin and Dandenong, but not listed in the APP, only Camberwell
I messaged them in the app about this and they've answered saying they're trying to add more stores in the coming weeks. I messaged back asking if that means we can't use our credit in a store that's not listed, Just waiting for a response.

I couldn't find it and chose Circular Quay.
My nearest store isn't listed either. I've sent them a message through the app in the hopes they'll add it.
I read on their FB page that some stores are still being migrated and that, soon, all their stores will be available on the app.

Did it all. Have the $10 credit yet at the store they had no (profanity) clue what they were doing and told me to pay normally. They had already made the ice cream so I was guilt tripped into a 9.50 ice cream. Be careful

Not that surprised - BR refused my birthday scoop as wasn't printed, but on phone. Previously store allowed me to email voucher. Just kept refusing to give me my ice cream😦
As with previous app deal, check with staff they know how to use this payment system BEFORE ordering.
Based on experience & issues using similar app in above link, It's possibly charged normally through register, paid by linking to your account via your number shown on your app (eg 5) when clicking "Paying in Store". That then charges to credit or CC. Payment couldn't be processed if store is not connected to internet. But may require a different system with BR.
You have set up payment via CC - won't give the credit or let you use payment system otherwise.
As with last app deal, best to give them time to iron out issues. It's a new system for staff. You've got 14 days to use credit.

Happened on my birthday as well but they just gave me my free scoop.
It seems franchises aren't ready for mobile payments. Since it will cost them 15 minutes of paid training.
With BR they tend to not be happy with offers, so always go during business hours, so we can call HQ if things go wrong.

For possible fellow Perth people: Subiaco literally don't have a frickin register at the moment so you can't pay with the app… discovered this after i ordered a sundae and had to pay another way :/

The $1 charges don't look like they're temporary, either. Mine has been deducted from the main balance although these kind of charges usually sit in Outstanding Transactions until they expire.
There are different ways to do the charge.
Prior to entering card details, there's a notice that advises a temporary $1 charge is placed to verify the card. I'm just letting people know it may not be temporary for all.
Often takes a few business days for pending charge or $1 purchase to be removed. Depends on bank etc.
So far 0 business days have elapsed
My 28Degrees CC shows $1 purchase, but not processed. That's normal.
With OVO SIM purchase it was still showing 4 months later so had to request they remove it.

Success! Went to Rocky store and the lovely server had no idea on the app. She enthusiastically had a crack and ended up discounting the $10 credit prior to charging me so I was only charged the extra $5.90 (two ice creams) and I still have $4.10 credit!
Note to self, next time hit redeem lol now my voucher is worth $5 :(

Had outlined steps I followed to receive $10 credit showing in my account (commented 15 minutes after deal posted):
downloaded, created account, (omitted mentioning click Redeem $10 Credit as thought was obvious), verify phone number with code sent, added CC for $10 credit to use within 14 days. Needed to agree to $1 verification (refunded).. Also posted link to other very similar $10 credit app deal.
There were no questions about this process. I had posted that because there were a number of steps necessary to obtain the credit, so expected some may not understand the process & miss out.
Had expected people to understand the need to click Redeem $10 Credit to get your $10 credit - as that was the deal. Redeem $10 offer appeared after you created account. Until you clicked it you just have an offer of free credit & that offer was limited.
I commented Credit Card registration was necessary for $10 Credit a few times. Some said it wasn't necessary or they wouldn't provide those details.
Even in previous app deal I linked to it was assumed people understood clicking Redeem $10 Credit didn't need explanation.
After following those steps, Credit shows at top of account as "0 points | $10 Credit" (beneath store location). That only appeared after Redeeming.
My account shows it still has $10 credit. Some people say it showed $10 but now only shows $5?? Possibly they are confusing Credit in their account with the Credit offer showing?
The welcome offer to redeem credit has now dropped from $10 to $5 as all $10 credit offers have been redeemed. If you did not redeem when $10 was available, get in quick for $5 credit.

They still haven't added any of my local stores to the app and now my credit is expired :(
I wonder how they track whether you are among the first 3131 to download, especially across 2 app stores.
