Long time lurker, go easy..
Great for the price, I picked some up for ~$300 a few months ago and have been very impressed.

Whoops! Fixing now
Sorted now, was checking delivery costs ;)
I wonder how it compares to the 1000XM2. Hard to find comparisons online.
This just seems like the wired version
wired version of Sony MDR-100ABN Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones?
Brain fart, my bad
1000xm2 is the flagship sony ANCs
maybe try comparing to mdr1000x (cracking headband edition)
They fixed that early on. My MDR1000x purchased Jan ths year hasn't experienced that issue.
That said, there is very little different between the MDR1000x and The XM2. Although, those differences are noticeable.
I have listened to both extensively. The XM2 has aptx-hd which is noticeably better than the MDR1000x but not enough for me to upgrade. Noise cancelling is the same and the battery on the XM2 is better.
This is now the old model. The new one is the WHH900N
The WHH900N has touch controls on the right ear cup (as opposed to switches/buttons on the 100ABN) which I personally found infuriating but it may be something you get used to with regular use.
Damn, bought mine at $250 about 4 months ago.
4 months is a long time in technology, which always depreciates over time.
Sound on these is arguably better to my ears than 1000X for certain genres i.e rock, metal. Instrumental separation on these is very good.
Great unit … only gripe i have is when there is silent passages/negligible volume it actually cuts the audio out (dead silent) instead of staying on, so if your watching a movie and there are pauses between the conversations from the actors (and no background music) it goes on/off on/off … nomral bluetooth headphones stay on transmitting the 'white noise' per sa.
can anyone comment on the difference between these and the ZX770BN?
Can anyone confirm these can also be connected via a 3.5mm cable (for use on aircraft)
How does this compare to the QC35 or 1000X? First time buying noise cancelling headphones
Price has dropped down to $218.
That link goes straight to payment method.
Efficient. Yikes.
