I'll cook some fries in it, and if I die, people will know whom to blame ;)
I've been using this oil to cook my meals since last year. No problem at all.
Also, it's great to drink.
I drink around 8-10 bottles when I am really thirsty. Tastes just like vodka
Tip of the day: Use it in your car first then, when you drain it out, use the used oil for cooking.
You are irresponsible if you are using NEW castrol oil for cooking. Tastes too bland as well.
dammit, i've already stocked up the 10w40 from previous sales with the 5L
Can i use it in diesel engine? My mechanic told me diesel engine use different oil. Sorry its my first car.
And he's right. Diesel motors do use different oil. So whatever you do don't use this oil in your diesel motor car. It's only designed for cars which run on unleaded petrol.
Here's a right oil for diesel motor cars. Diesel oil is not as cheap.

Maybe his diesel has a DPF too…? Maybe his diesel is an older Jap diesel and requires high ash? Theres a few reasons assuming the weight is right, that that GTX might not be good in his diesel.
Best to make sure any oil is right for your particular car.
it says on the bottle its for petrol or diesel cars, suv
Really. I wrongly thought it was for petrol cars only. I stand wrong and corrected. Oh well.
Some are multi fleet capable.
Very good cooking oil
