Taste of Melbourne Has Been Cancelled Due to Melbourne Weather - Friday 1 – Sunday 3 December

Just got this email

"In the light of severe weather and flooding, and after consulting with weather, safety and emergency services experts, IMG has made the decision to cancel the remaining Taste of Melbourne sessions from Friday 1 – Sunday 3 December. This decision is being made with the safety of our guests, exhibitors and staff in mind.

We regret any disappointment or disruption caused to those who were looking forward to Taste of Melbourne and thank you for your understanding."

I suspected they would do this.

      people should be according to The Age. I got freebies so I won't be getting one.

    Just imagine how much money you saved! Like $70-ish, that's how much I spent.

      yeah, but the freebies meant I could pop in and see if it was worth it. Was there anything that particularly stood out?

        The only freebie was a picnic rug and mini bottle of fruit juice. What I really liked was that the lines were shorter and whole event more spread out.

          @try2bhelpful: Not really. We mainly go for the workshops.
