Seeking best low cost Android mobile with a self replaceable battery.

Currently use a Xaiomi Redmi Note 2 and like carrying spare batteries.

Open to direct imports from China.

Would like to upgrade to a more powerful phone but can't seem to find many with replaceable batteries.

Would prefer not to have a built in battery and have to replace the phone every two years or so.

The fastest phone out there with a removable battery would be the LG V20 with a gigantic 3200mAh removable battery and Snapdragon 820 it's basically the best buy for a ex-flagship.

The lowest-cost but also 'not so slow it's impossible to use' would be the Motorola G5 (note that it's not the PLUS version). The G5 has a removable back cover while the G5 Plus, the higher cost sibling, has a fixed battery.

gsmarena allows you to search for phones with removable batteries. They are starting to become quite rare.

I've never seen one, but the processor in the G5 seems to already be underpowered. In two years it might be frustratingly unresponsive.
