Not as cheap as previous deal, but still a pretty good price nonetheless.
Switch is Romer G (consensus seems to be faint tactile bump like MX Brown, but shorter travel like MX Speed, and quieter than most Corsair KBs)

How are the romer-g switches compared to the cherry keyboards?
Slightly quieter and mushier
OP describes it pretty accurately in the description I would say
To add to OPs description, take a Cherry MX Brown and remove the initial travel before the bump. That's pretty much how the Romer-Gs feel to me.
I also find them smoother then Browns, but I've heard newer Browns are now smoother.
Cherrys are old and clunky - has the "hipster cred" but they're fatiguing over extended periods of use. Romer Gs have faster travel and better action and are designed for gaming.
The price is increase $10 from $128
Yep, it was $128 before going back up to $198 yesterday and now back to 138
They ended up screwing up my G810 order so not going to buy from them again.
Damn I thought I got a good deal with JB HiFi's Logitech gaming deal last week. Paid $40 more than this.
I have two of these. bloody love them :) do recommend, they are both about 12 months old now and still work a treat. :)
Been on the lookout for a gaming keyboard for my brother for Christmas but the local store has no stock, Online Delivery is $14.95 makes it a little less appealing wasn't there some method of getting free postage?
Edit: nvm I found it here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/341889
Received my keyboard today…still getting used to the relatively short key travel.
It's not very loud, and the tactile bump is there but not very sharp. The keys are packed quite densely so that will take a little getting used to…
The volume roller is quite free-spinning, no racthets or dampening…but overall I'm quite happy. It's not a very clackety keyboard, and the tactile bump, even though faint, adds that little bit of resistance that makes the keys bottoming out a little softer on the fingers.
The macro keys can be programmed to do almost anything you so want of them…and recording macros is super easy. Overall, for this price, it's really good.
The stocks are depleting pretty fast though…mine had to be shipped from Ballarat, and Melbourne stores are more or less out of stock. The rest of my order is coming from Devonport (AirPods) and Beats X headphones, so make good use of that Shipster trial!
Good price for that keyboard, but I cant go near romer-g switches after spoiling myself with cherrys
